GDPR
We carry out all processing operations in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

If you register for our mailing list or sign up for a free trial you will be asked for personal information, such as your name, email address and organization. This information is used only for technical and customer administration of the site and isn't shared with third parties.

To participate in the discussion forums, comment boards and article reviews, you are required to disclose your name and email address. This information is not used for commercial purposes, is not shared with third parties and is only used for site administration.

Percolate LMS™ uses a credit card processing service to bill you for goods you purchase. This service does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. The service is not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing this service.

Use of cookies
When you register for one of our services, Percolate LMS™ sets a cookie, a small bit of code stored on your computer's hard drive that enables you to manage your subscriptions and online profile. By setting this cookie, Percolate LMS™ will remember you for the duration of your visit, or in some cases the next time you visit, and won't bother you by repeatedly asking you to log in during a visit.

You are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits; but if you do so, you may not be able to use certain features on the site and may be required to re-enter information more frequently to use certain services on the website.

IP addresses
In addition, Percolate LMS™ also records your IP address, which is the Internet address of your computer and information such as your browser type and operating system, only if you use certain features, such as the discussion forums or the client login system. This information helps us learn about the geographical distribution of our website visitors and the technology they use to access our site and helps us to maintain a higher level of security.

III. What If I Don't Want to Share My Information?

Registering on our site is optional. If you choose not to register or provide personal information, you can still use the Percolate LMS™ website. However, you will not be able to make purchases, access free resources, leave a reply, write a review or receive email newsletters. Percolate LMS™ views the customer information that it collects as a trusted asset for which we take great care not to misuse.

If you register for the mailing list Percolate LMS™ will not share, sell, distribute or rent your information to anyone. If you enter into a transaction after the free trial, your information will not be shared.

Glossary

Cookie: A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous, unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a website's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites. Once you have closed the browser or navigated away from the website, the cookie will no longer be accessed. If you request that the website "remembers" you when you return, then the cookie will remain on your computer and be sent back to the website the next time you visit it from the same computer using the same web browser, or else after your session ends your computer will automatically delete the cookie.

IP Address: When your web browser or email application requests a web page or email from another computer on the Internet, it automatically gives that computer the address where it should send the information. This is called your computer's "IP address." (IP stands for "Internet protocol.") The IP address may be "dynamic", meaning that your computer requests a new address from your Internet Service Provider (ISP) each time it attempts to log onto the ISP's network, or it can be a "static" address that never changes. Percolate LMS™ records this information to learn about the geographical make-up of its web site traffic, and to provide a certain level of security and accountability for users who access secure features.
